- 1/12- 2 lbs trimmed flank steak
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons hot paprika
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt and black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
- Mix the seasons together and rub into steak and let sit over night for more savory marinade. Broil or grill steak uncovered and over very high heat until cooked to doneness. A couple of minutes per side should be adequate for medium rare.
